The bathroom project.
I was once terrified of public bathrooms.
In order to get over my fear, I made a deal with myself to photograph all bathrooms I entered during the entire month of April 2006.
The project forced me to spend time in a fearful place with hopes of reversing my fear by instead finding beauty in an sterile, unwelcome environment.
The project was a success. I am no longer afraid of public bathrooms.
